Sergio Nikita Lialin brings practitioner depth and cultural fluency to conversations about psychedelic integration, mental health, spiritual healing, and the deeper human journey of remembering what has always been whole.

Sergio Nikita Lialin (pronounced SER-gee-oh Nee-KEE-tah Lee-AH-lin)

As psychedelic-assisted therapies move rapidly into mainstream culture, the need for meaningful preparation, guidance, and integration has never been greater. Millions of people are approaching healing, transformation, and expanded states of consciousness without the support structures required to navigate those experiences well.

Sergio Nikita Lialin has spent years working at the intersection of ancient wisdom, modern psychology, ceremony, somatic healing, and integration practice. His book, Healing the Modern Soul, offers a grounded map for the deeper journey beneath the experience itself—the journey of remembering what has always been whole.

AUTHOR BIO (LONG)

Sergio Nikita Lialin is an author and preparation, guidance, and integration specialist working at the intersection of psychedelic science, indigenous-informed frameworks, and contemporary healing modalities. Drawing on work in NLP, IFS, somatic practice, and plant medicine integration, he guides individuals through the terrain that clinical treatment alone does not address—the preparation before the experience, the experience itself, and the integration that follows.

His book, Healing the Modern Soul, is a 374-page synthesis of spiritual awakening, breathwork, indigenous wisdom, and the emerging science of psychedelic healing. It arrives at a moment of cultural shift, as policy accelerates access to medicines that have been held within traditional contexts for generations, and offers both philosophical grounding and practical pathways for navigating that change. Lialin works with individuals and groups navigating the intersection of ancient practice and modern science. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and available for interviews, speaking engagements, and media appearances.

BOOK DESCRIPTION (LONG)

Healing the Modern Soul is a 374-page work written for a moment of cultural transition—when science is rapidly advancing psychedelic therapies, and millions are approaching these experiences without adequate preparation, guidance, or integration support. The book explores spiritual awakening, breathwork, indigenous wisdom, and the convergence of psychedelic science with living tradition. It is not a book about substances. It is a map back to the self—grounded in the understanding that healing is not the correction of a broken person, but the remembering of a whole one. “You were never broken. You are remembering who you are.”

The increase in federal funding for psychedelic therapies is creating a concern over the lack of adequate preparation and integration services. This issue is raising worries about patient outcomes and long-term care. Sergio Lialin, a practitioner and author of Healing the Modern Soul, expressed these concerns

Briefglance.com  June 2026

At the forefront of this caution is Sergio Lialin, a Northern California-based practitioner and author of Healing the Modern Soul.
